Project: Northeastern University Telecom Program

Description: Developed Northeastern University's curricula in telecommunications which includes an Associate's Degree program; the world's first and largest continuing education program in telecommunications; contract programs with major corporations, and certificate and degree programs offered via television. Was the first to teach office automation, network administration, and voice-data network planning courses at an American university.

Project: IT Procurement and Reengineering

Description: Performed an in-depth audit and review of an internal multimillion dollar software development program for a new customer acquisition, care, and billing system for the executive management of CANTEL, the largest Canadian cellular carrier, and recommended its cancellation. Supported the CIO in the procurement of a new system, reengineering of IT processes, and the reorganization and redirection of the IT department.

Client: Tufts Associated Health Plans

Project: TAHP Reengineering

Description: Developed the data communications strategic plan and identified the strategic communications and data processing hardware, software, and management issues so TAHP's MIS department could reengineer its operations. This was an early implementation of the use of Ethernet LAN technology in the health care industry and greatly reduced paper flow and improved employee efficiency.

Client: Bridgewater Savings Bank

Project: Bridgewater Savings Bank

Description: Developed a telecommunications plan for Bridgewater Savings Bank and provided guidance for moving the bank's operations center several miles to a new headquarters. Procured a new PBX telephone system and premise distribution system for the new headquarters and networked the bank's location so that they operated as one.

Client: New England Baptist Hospital

Project: Hospital Infrastructure

Description: Reorganized the IT department of New England Baptist Hospital, NEBH. Directed the first JCAHO accreditation of its IT department, developed a new cabling infrastructure, and directed the state-of-the-art recabling of the entire hospital campus to support the full range of voice, data, video, Internet, and telemedicine applications. Designed and implemented a microwave link between hospital locations. Procured and implemented a PBX.
