1 Grant Support for University of Maine – Provided technical support to the ECE Department of the University of Maine for the development of BS and MS degree programs in wireless telecommunications.
2 Curriculum Development for University of Maine – Provided technical support to the ECE Department of the University of Maine for the preparation of a multi-million dollar NSF grant for the study of broadband communications.
3 Survey Analysis for TAEUS – Opined on the validity of the statistical analysis of a 12,000 sample, 8 country user survey regarding a software product in an antitrust matter.
4 VoIP Patent Analysis for TAEUS – Reviewed 7 VoIP patents and identified their market applicability.
5 ATM Patent Analysis for TAEUS – Reviewed 11 ATM patents and identified their market applicability.
6 Fairpoint Verizon Merger for Confidential Client – Prepared a summary of the status of the Fairpoint Verizon merger for an investment firm.
7 Command Translation Patent Analysis for Confidential Client – Reviewed a command translation device patent for its market applicability and uniqueness for a confidential client.
8 Purchase and Sale Contract Dispute for TAEUS -Analyzed a purchase and sale agreement regarding data center products for potential breaches. Opined in a report for the court that no breach occurred and was deposed.
9 IEEE Chapter Officer IEEE 2008 Membership Chair, 2009 Vice Chair, and 2010 Chair of the Maine Section of the IEEE Communications and Computer Societies.
10 Automatic Natural Language Translation System for PRG– Developed the physical and functional specifications for a real time automatic natural language translation system. Filed a US Patent application.
11 PRG Board of Directors for PRG – Formerly a member of the Board of Directors of PRG, a systems integrator.
12 Database Patent Review for TAEUS – Performed a Level 1 review of a patent for merging large databases.
13 Image Processing Patent Review for TAEUS – Performed a Level 1 review of two image processing patents.
14 Wireless Modem Patent Review for TAEUS – Performed a Level 1 review of a wireless modem patent.
15 Battery Operated Subscriber Unit Patent Review for TAEUS – Performed a Level 1 review of two battery operated subscriber unit patents.
16 AIN Patent Review for TAEUS – Performed a Level 1 review of an advanced intelligent network patent.
17 Wireless Video Voicemail Patent Review for TAEUS – Performed a Level 1 review of a patent where video is interleaved into the voice message stream.
18 Answering Machine Patent Review for TAEUS – Performed a Level 1 review of a wireless answering system patent.
19 Consultant Liaison Program 2 3COM – – Consultant to 3COM for the development of its consultant relations program.
20 Business Viability Assessment for Confidential Client – – Provided a summary and assessment of the business strengths and vulnerabilities of an international carrier for potential investors.
21 Wireless Backhaul Market Assessment for Confidential Client – – Provided a summary of the wireless backhaul market for a financial institution. This included spectrum allocation, applications, and competitive pressures.
