Ron Brown was a judge at the Pinetree First Robotics Competition at the Collisée in Lewiston Maine, April 4 & 5, 2014. Thirty-eight teams representing competitive robotics teams from New England high schools vied for an opportunity to participate in the international championship April 24-26, 2014 in St. Louis. First Robotics’ mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, inspire innovation, and foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. Over 5000 teams participate internationally.
