Ron Brown gave a STEM presentation to students of the Ocean Avenue Elementary School in Portland, ME on February 24. 2016. The presentation, an extension of the IEEE STEM Ambassadors program, taught the students simple assembly line techniques by having them assemble ball point pens. First they did it by themselves and then in groups of four they did it in an assembly line. Much to their surprise, they saw a significant time improvement with the assembly line.
