Description: In a contract performance dispute involving three parties where business critical data was lost, reviewed existing documentation and in a report opined where the negligence for the lost data lay. The matter was favorably settled just prior to my deposition.
Description: In four separate TCPA matters, prepared reports for the court. The foundations for these reports were based on both business processes and demonstrated technical capabilities. Description: Prepared business and residential customer surveys for a government organization regarding antitrust behavior by a vendor with their IT tool. Directed the survey of 8000 residential customers and 4000 business customers in eight countries and the subsequent statistical analysis. The defendant settled shortly after the submission of the survey results.
Description: Developed Northeastern University's curricula in telecommunications which includes an Associate's Degree program; the world's first and largest continuing education program in telecommunications; contract programs with major corporations, and certificate and degree programs. Courses were offered live and remotely via television. Was the first to teach office automation, network administration, and voice-data network planning courses at an American university. Courses taught included a wide range of electrical engineering, tele- and data-communications, computer and information management, and business project management topics.
Description: Performed an in-depth audit and review of an internal multimillion dollar software development program for a new customer acquisition, care, and billing system for the executive management of CANTEL, the largest Canadian cellular carrier, and recommended its cancellation. Supported the CIO in the procurement of a new system, reengineering of IT processes, and the reorganization and redirection of the IT department.
Description: Identified the business issues, technical issues, and costs faced by TAHP if it split its operations between two locations.
Description: Developed the data communications strategic plan and identified the strategic communications and data processing hardware, software, and management issues so TAHP's MIS department could reengineer its operations. This was an early implementation of the use of Ethernet LAN technology in the health care industry and greatly reduced paper flow and improved employee efficiency.
Description: Developed a telecommunications plan for Bridgewater Savings Bank and provided guidance for moving the bank's operations center several miles to a new headquarters. Procured a new PBX telephone system and premise distribution system for the new headquarters and networked the bank's location so that they operated as one.
